My Biddlecombe's go back to Southampton, in Hampshire.
Which is where I get stuck, My Great Grandfather was Frank Charles Biddlecombe born in Southampton on February 11, 1864.
His Fathers name on the Birth certificate is Esau Biddlecombe
( Journeyman),
Later (1880's)when Frank Charles Biddlecombe marries Alice Maud Wiles, His Fathers Name is reported as Henry Biddlecombe
(deceased).
Looking up the cemetery records
for Southampton, both a Henry and an Esau died within a short time of one another. Therefore I am stuck, and cannot go any further.
I wondered if there might be a link to your Biddlecombes's,
especially as Chrles seems to be a
family Name.
