Humphry, I'm told, was my great (great?) uncle. My late mother's maiden name was Mary (Marie) Davy.
My father was Donald Bernard Minor.

Ironic given Sir Humphry's famous invention of the miner's lamp.

My aunt, Margaret Davy Walker is still going strong and resides in Pearland, Texas.

She would be the best source of Davy family history.
