My House

Hi my name is David Gray and I have done this mini website to see if I can find any information about my house which is called Fishing Cottage. The house is situated by the A3057 on the outscirsts of Romsey and is between King Someborne And Timsbury in Brook. The furtheset I could go back is 1850 in the record office. A few facts about the house location is that it is nearly opposite the now dissused Brook chalk pitt. It is also near the still working Somborne Lime Quarry. Which dominates a large part of the hillside. The house is also right next to the River Test and the footpath called the Test Way which used to be a railway line called The Sprat & Winkle line. The house is also opposite a house which is known as the one on the island which is called Lower Brook House. Another fact is that a separate part of my house burnt down in the 60 or 70s. If you have any picture of the old house I would be greatful if you could get incontact with me. There might of been a picture in a local newspaper.
If you know anything about this house or you know anyone who knows about it please contact me. You can also contact me if you have any information about the area I live in.
