Come and find us - unsure where we are? go to the links page and click "We are here - W of the Marina and S of the Town Hall". If travelling by car come off the M27 at junction 11 signposted Gosport and Fareham. Follow the A32 signposted for Gosport. The easiest way is to continue on the A32 to the end of Gosport's town centre by the Ferry terminal and bus station which will be on your left. Continue round the bend and look for the main car park on your left hand side in about another 600 metres. You then cannot miss the new clubhouse right alongside the lakes.

About the Club
 | Gosport Model Yacht & Boat Club, as it is currently known has been operating effectively as a yacht and/or model yacht racing club for about 90 years from the lakes in Walpole Park, Gosport.
Our club logo can be seen above and you can see our new clubhouse by clicking on the Club Headquarters page.
We build, race and sail for fun model yachts of virtually all shapse sizes and types. The club is famous for the A Class yachts but we also regularly sail International One Metre Class Yachts and Marblehead Class Yachts. This applies to both Radio Controlled and Vane Controlled Yachts. Visitors are welcome to view racing and sailing and there will normally be opportunities for visitors to 'have a go'. Best times to see boats on the water are Sunday mornings, Thursday mornings and some Tuesday mornings.
As well as providing sailing opportunities for club members in club competitions, and just for fun, the club also hosts District and National events. The club has a scale section where members concentrate on the building and sailing of electric or steam powered boats. Unfortunately, i.c. powered boats are not permitted in view of the safety implications and the fact that the lakes are a designated Site of Special Scientific Interest.
If you are unsure where we are, go to our 'links' page and click "We are here - W of the Marina and S of the Town Hall"
