Hi, I saw your mention of Irene Pilson and I wonder if you know where any of her research papers are today? Myself and another researcher are trying to track down a will or deed for Ivy Cottage on Pound St. Bitterne that she mentions in both Memories books and none of the research centers in Winchester or Southampton have this document in their collections. It shows James Vare as the owner in the late 1700's. If you can ask anybody in the family if her notes or copies of her documents still exist, it could be a real treasure chest of information. Any info at all would be greatly appreciated! Best regards, John

Anyone know if there were any Faithfulls in Wherwell? Seems strange that i have ancestors in Broughton, Houghton, Londparish and Longstock but not in Wherwell which is in the the middle?

Am researching William Faithfull, b. Hampshire, 1774, who arrived New South Wales in 1792 as private in the New South Wales Corps. Do you know if he is part of your Faithfull family. Have full details of Australian descendants.
