Hampshire 50+ XI
You're never too old to play cricket for Hampshire!
Are you 50 years young or over and still playing competitive cricket?
If so, you might be interested to join the Hampshire 50+ XI, which plays 7 games a season in the ECB 50+ Tournament plus 2 or 3 other friendly games.
A very social side, the team has toured in Barbados (1999) and Malaysia (2001) and the next tour, to Australia in 2003, is currently under planning.
The 2001 Hampshire 50+ XI won all 7 of the ECB 50+ Tournament games and narrowly missed going on to play in the Quarter Final. They plan to make the Quarter Final in 2002!
If you'd like to join us, please contact the Team Manager, John Rickard, on
