Marchwood Village Hall - run by the community for the community

Marchwood Village Hall was opened in 1993 and is a modern, light buiding which has three function rooms for hire.
At the centre of the Village, it is the main venue for Village functions, elections, weddings, parties and anything else that you can think of!
The Village Hall is open from 9am - 11pm weekdays and Sundays and 9am - 11.30pm on Saturdays. The office is open weekdays from 9am - 12 midday with an answer phone for out of hours calls.
We are a happy bunch who love to help.
During the last year the hall has undergone a programme of refurbishment mainly to incorporate addional facilities for disabled users.
We have added a lift to our first floor(Pine Room) which not only asists those who can't manage the stairs, it also makes it a lot easier to take equipment to the Pine Room. This room is a very private room and is used a lot for seminars, counselling sessions etc. We have also incorporated a small kitchen unit off this room to accomodate refreshment making.
Accessing the building couldn't be easier as now we have automatically opening doors into the building and the main hall.
Hard of hearing? no problem in our main hall(Maple Room) as we have a Loop/PA system to assist those who have trouble hearing.
Off the main hall we have additional toilets with the ladies incorporating disabled facilities as well as a baby changeing unit and toddler secure seat.
We mustn't forget the Oak Room which is used primarily for the Pre School but is available to rent at all other times. This is a suitable room for tinies parties, meetings etc. and with the sink unit it is great for messy bookings: art, crafts etc. All this combined with a large kitchen off the main hall means that Marchwood Village Hall could be just what you are looking for to host your meeting, party or class.
