FAMILY TREE OF MUSSELWHITE

My family research of Musselwhite started when I was looking for details of my husband's family details. I became hooked on research of my own family.

I have made lots of contacts with others researching the name of Musselwhite. The tree goes back to Downton Wiltshire.
My own link Andover Hampshire.
I have found that I have links with Baingstoke with the name of Kimber.My Grandfather was one of 10 childewn. He was Born April 14 th 1886. RobertMusselwhite married Fanny Louisa Perren of Abbotts Ann, Andover, Hants. They had 4 children. My father Stanley Robert Musselwhite Born Ooctober 26th 1913 Married Nina Marskell April 23rd 1938 at Maidenhead Berks.They were married For 62 Years. They had 2 sons and 2 daughters. I am the eldest Born July 11th 1940 in Andover during an air raid. I have 3 daughters and 1 son.

KIMBER

Little did I know when I came to Basingstoke to do Nursing that I would be connected with it by my Great Grand Father's marriage. Jane Kimber was born in Ellisfield, Hants. It was pure luck that I found someone else that was studing the name of KIMBER. In the post I received a Family Tree dating back to 1600 what a lot of work had been done. It meant that I could link my Musselwhite Family into the Kimber Tree, Also I received another tree for Kimber that was part of the one I had.
In the last few months I have learnt that timber was taken by the Kimber's in the early 1800's to the Church at Abotts Ann, Nr, Andover, Hants. Which meant my Musselwhite family had further ties with the Kimber's all those years ago.

Abel Family Tree

My mother Nina was born 08/11/1916 at 51 Greencroft Street Salisbury, Wilts. Her mother also was born at 51 Greencroft Street.
The Abel family are recorded on fishe for Wiltshire as having a busines under the heading of shoe makers.
Lillian Abel was one of thirteen children I have since learnt, having made contact with other family members.
Lillian's sister Amy and Husband George Robb lived 7 The Broadway, Andover, Hants. George ran the petrol pumps that went with the house.
When Amy and husband George moved to West Wellow my Grandmother took over the house and Horace Highman granny's husband ran the pumps.
In November 1938 my parents were married at Maidenhead, Berkshire. Granny had moved there prior to my mother's wedding.
My parents then took over the house in the Broadway and my father ran the pumps prior to moving to Charlton Down, Nr Andover, Hants.
As mentioned in the story of Musselwhite I said I was born during an air raid,
During the night I was born someone knocked the door and said that they shoud all go to the air raid shelter. My grand mother told this person that they would not be going to the shelter as her daughter was in labour.

THANKS TO THIS SITE BEING SET UP I HAVE CONNECTED TO MY FAMILY IN CANADA. WE HAVE NEVER MET BUT THE NAME SOUNDS FAMILAR. IT WAS JUST PURE LUCK THAT I SAW THE NAME OF SOMEONE LOOKING FOR PERREN IN THE AREA WHERE MY FAMILY OF PERREN'S CAME FROM.
