2002 Season Presentation Evening. 21st June 2003.

A warm Saturday evening produced another friendly, high spirited, presentation evening for the deserving lads of the U13, U14, and U15's Spartan Colts Youth Soccer Teams and the parents, friends, guardians and hangers on. Yes Matt (Red Nose) Ritchie, that includes you.

As well as the usual attendance trophies we had five other awards, four trophies and a boot bag for the annual skills winner.Allthe winners earned their rewards throughout the season and continueto show Kev and I how football should be played........sometimes.

Representative trophies went to:
Tom Price
Matt Wright
Matt Lloyd
James Webb
James Mackenzie
James Adams
Scott Allen
Michael Jenkins
Michael Privett
Michael Austin
Dave King
Lewis Webb
Nick Jennings
Leigh Branson
Antonio Dawkins
Elliot Fairweather

And some other big lad whose name escapes me for the moment. Oh what was his name? He wears a silly hairband, tall nipper, scores goals, calls me Big Mac.
It'll come to me in a moment.Oh yes......
Liam McCormick!!!!!!!!!!

Special awards:
Liam McCormick. Players Player
Elliot Fairweather. Supporters Player
Matt Wright. Most 'Man of the Match' Award
Scott Allen. Club Player

Special thanks, as always, to the 'relatively' unseen organisers of events and all things relating to the club.
Thank you Eddie and Graham.

Thanks, also, to the other groups who were much quieter this year than last, eventually, so we people could actually hear what was going on.

See you all next year.

Rabble pic 2002-2003

Trying to get a decent group photo is as likely as Portsmouth winning the premiership. Here the rabble slowly sort themselves out, sort of.

2002-2003 Team posing post presentation

A fitting end to a good season. The players that couldn't make it missed a great evening. Good luck for next season Lads. Kev and Mac

2002-2003 Team photo, post presentation

Another shot of the posers/poseurs.

The additional trophy winners

Matt, Liam, Ells, and Scotty line up with the club mascot.

2002-2003 Additional trophy winners

Another shot of the deserving recipients of the additional club awards, plus Caprice our unofficail mascot.

For those of you getting confused. Caprice is the good looking one with the hairband. The other one is Liam.

Players Player.

Liam with his Players Player award and therefore Captain for next season. This photo also shows that Liam dressed himself for the presentation evening.

Man of the Match award

Matt Wright showing off his man of the match award. Well done Matt.

Club Player

Scott Allen showing off his Club Players award. Scotty just pipped James M at the post for this award, and deservedly so. Well done Scotty, keep it up.

Supporters Player.

Elliot Fairweather with his deserved supporters player. Elliot joined us at the start of the season and this award is testimony to his progress. Well done Ells. Please would you teach your dad how to play?

Liam McCormick

Liam shows off his new found dress sense.

Oh!

Hang on!

Sorry Liam it's another girl with a hairband. It's Caprice, our unofficial mascot, posing after the team shots. Much better looking than Liam anyway. My mistake. Big Mac

Why not to get too cheeky

James finds out why you shouldn't get too gobby with grown ups. Here is James at the mercy of Andy Dawkins, our sponsor, and just about ready to apologise.
