Spartan Colts 1-4 Gosport Borough

Paul Leweslys Spartan old boys were still upbeat after a drumming from a strong Borough side. The common denominator for the losing side seems to be having Kev (slapper) Allen playing for you. A masterful performance from the Borough defence, and Mac (in goal) in particular thwarted the Spartan attempts. The Spartan team played some good soccer but were out defended and out midfielded, and out attacked for a change. Johnny Fairweather, John Lees, & Tom Wallender played starring roles as well as Mac (after an absolutely disasterous performance the night before) for the first Borough win in 5 years.
