These annual prestigious awards are co-ordinated by the Local Sports Council to recognise and celebrate the achievements of clubs, coaches, officials and individuals in the local sporting community.
Categories are Senior & Junior Sportsmen & Women, Club & Coach of the Year, Service to Sport, Senior & Junior Volunteer, Veteran Male & Female, Senior & Junior Team plus Sports Official.
Nominations can be submitted to Basingstokelsc1@aol.com or via post to 3 Dragonfly Drive, Lychpit, Basingstoke, RG24 8RU between Sept 1st and December 31st 2008.
Selected finalists are invited to the prestigious awards evening in February 2009 hosted by the Apollo Hotel.
Winners of the Basingstoke & Deane Awards are submitted for consideration to the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Awards.
