Testwood School 28 Years On - What Have We Been Up To?
Testwood School July 1978. Was that the last time that you saw somebody (some 250 bodies!) that you had spent 5 long years with? Do you have any memories of that era when lunch-time was kicking a tennis ball round the playground and English lessons were for reading "alternative" literature undercover of Macbeth ("I'm sorry, Mr. Coulson, but I'm reading ahead of where you are!") Well, here is a chance for all of Testwood's 1978 "out-take" to get back inside for an evening (if they dare). The last time so many of us will have been together in one room will have been the last detention session way back in July 1978 or at the 2003 reunion.
July 29th 2006 has been ear-marked (like my copy of Macbeth) for another day, and The Salmon Leap, Testwood (Legally driniking there this time) has been lined up as the venue.
We have many contacts already established with the "Class of '78" through personal contact, but mainly through "Friends Reunited" and the interest that the site has created.
Click on to Friends reunited at http://www.friendsreunited.co.uk and see what we are up to.
Alternatively contact me (Graeme Sandford or "Mable" if you wish) on graeme.sandford@ntlworld.com or telephone 02380 485727 or contact Lynn or Hannah and we will give you more information and details as you require.
It wasn't such a bad time then, was it?

Catering Contract Awarded!!
Latst news, hot out of the oven, is that the reunion has a dedicated catering team who are at this moment lighting the pilot lights of planning and warming the hotplates of organisation. Patrick McCullen, all round good oeuf and cousin of mine, has volunteered his services in the grub department (or as he would have it if he could speak French: "Je suis le chef de la cuisine cordon bleu"). so, we should have a wide variety of cheese sandwiches and nibbles available on the night.
More updates later and can you e-mail us if you are veggie, vegan, awkward or other so that we can fill in the table below.
Thank You
Patrick and everybody from Kettering.
PS: The Salmon Leap management have decided that outside catering is not for them, so it is a night off for Patrick and cheese sandwiches and nibbles that you "can" complain about (if you really want to).
