Over 40 years of caring for elderly people

The John A Thompson Memorial Trust owns 5 houses in Southsea providing subsidised housing for elderly people.
We are an independent charity supported by voluntary donations. Our complex provides sheltered, secure, peaceful housing for our 40 residents. We also provide funds for specially selected projects within our local community.
With a sunlounge built onto one of our houses in 2000 we are now able to provide lunches for those who do not want to cook, all sorts of get togethers and activities. Are latest activity is hand and head massage which is very popular with our residents.

To add to our much needed funds we hold a yearly fete in our beautiful garden.
