Take Control!

Where could you learn to fly aerobatics, be a glider pilot, go camping, visit military bases, organise events at home and overseas, play sports from local to international level, learn the skills to lead expeditions, go on night exercises, become a target shooting marksman, gain your Duke of Edinburgh Awards, canoe through white water, assist your community, join a band, go caving, parachute, go rock climbing, play sports, sail, ski...? Air cadets across the UK do all these things and more.

Air Cadets at Ross-on-Wye take part in all kinds of action, adventure and sports. At the same time they have a great social life. Our members come from all around the Ross and Monmouth area. To be a member you have to be at least 13 – and it’ll cost you a pound – every week!

The Air Cadet Organisation owns the largest fleet of gliders in the world and is also the largest operator of the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme.

The ATC has something for everyone, whatever their ability – as long as you can show commitment. This isn’t just another youth club! Teamwork and social skills learned in the ATC will be of value throughout your life – and you’re sure to make some good friends.

We meet at Ross-on-Wye between 19.00 and 21.30 hrs every Monday and Friday evening. You can ring us at these times on 01989 563773, or just turn up. Please visit our website for more information - www.1002sqn.org.uk
