Monthly summaries of the British weather

COL membership is open to anyone with an interest in the weather.
The organisation caters mainly for amateur meteorologists, but the
membership also includes many professionals and observers from other bodies, eg
Universities and Research Establishments. Many of our members run
weather stations that co-operate with the Meteorological Office
and the Environment Agency.

COL publishes a monthly weather bulletin that summarises the weather
around the British Isles, with details of temperature, rainfall, sunshine,
tornadoes, snow, thunderstorms, etc. Worldwode news stories about
the weather are included, as are notes and letters from weather
observers.

COL is always interested to hear from new weather observers or from
anyone with an interest in British weather. Subscription rates for 2003
are £24-50 (£18-50 for the unwaged) - although it costs nothing to submit
data.
