Helpline Number: 0871 750 1725
FMA UK works hard to raise awareness about this syndrome and help people, particularly in rural areas, get the advice and help they need. The best way forth initially is to have a helpline open to all enquirers giving information on all aspects of FMS including enquiries on symptoms, benefits, diet, exercise, treatments, working with health professionals and much more.
The importance of a F M Helpline has been proved effective all over the country and is particularly necessary when reaching sufferers, their families and health professionals in rural communities.
I have approached various areas for a community grant to initiate a support group. Anyone with information or that can help would be most appreciated.
Many sufferers do not want to be involved in a group or are too ill to do so, which is why our helpline is so important.
Our helpline is run by volunteers and we are currently not able to return calls. However, callers can make evening calls if someone is not available to take their call during the day, but preferably not 5-7 pm. E-mail enquires welcome via our website or direct. |
