SUPPORTING YOUTH ACHIEVEMENT
 | The Army Cadet Force (ACF) is the oldest Youth Organisation in Britain, and provides an interesting outlet for young boys and girls to develop in the right way and become useful citizens, it also gives them an insight into life in the Armed Services as a career. There are six Detachments in all the major centres of population in Herefordshire. Although officially sponsored by the Ministry of Defence, the ACF does not receive sufficient funding to support the sporting and "Adventure Training" activities which are so necessary to attract membership and develop character. The Army Cadet League was therefore formed to provide this essential subsidy. The Herefordshire Army Cadet League operates independently as a registered charity. We give grants to pay for equipment needed for sporting activities and "Adventure Training" expeditions both at home and overseas. We need "Business Sponsors" and gift donations. REGISTERED CHARITY No 520999 |
