We want to tell you about our churches in the county
Welcome - we are glad you found us! Whether you live in or are visiting our area, the Methodist Church people would be delighted to welcome you and offer interest and support.
In the immediate Hereford City area there are 4 Methodist Churches - 2 in nearby village communities (one of which, at Burghill, worships in the Parish Church) and the others in the City. Each will warmly welcome you to services and other activities.
Christ Church Ross on Wye is a combined Methodist and United Reformed Church.
There are Methodist churches in Bromyard, and Ledbury which are also part of the Herefordshire (South and East) Circuit.
The circuit currently has two ordained Ministers - - Rev David Meachem, based in Hereford and Rev. Jayne Webb, based in Ledbury.
There are also many other Methodist and United Reformed Churches throughout Herefordshire and we shall be delighted to put you in contact with any near to your locality.
These other churches are also linked into Circuits and those in the rest of the county cover the South West of the county - (Cwm and Kingstone and the Golden Valley), and the North West (Leominster Presteigne and Kington).
We are part of the Birmingham Methodist District. To learn more about Methodism why not visit:- http://www.methodist.org.uk/
Our shared aim is to help you gain an experience of the love of God and friendship of people who are also seeking to grow in their knowledge and service of Jesus.
Many of these churches offer weekly groups. Some have parents and Tots clubs, a group for parents with Twins, Fellowship and Bible study house groups, and activities for elderly and young people. On Sunday many offer lively childrens clubs/Sunday Schools as well as worship - give us a try!!
