Sat 20th Sep vs Droitwich 2nds at Hereford Leisure Centre (HLC)
Excellent start to season with a comprehensive 8-2 win
Hereford used unconventional tactic of 11 out field players instead of 10 and a goalie.
4-1 at half time with goals from rich brown, then Giles Roderick, then another from Rich Brown before they scored and towards end of half restores 3 goal lead with goal from James Hope.
second half started as first one finished; another goal from Giles Roderick then Droitwich pulled one back despite heroic efforts from Tim Block and Daiyle Door. we raised our game to compensate for the lack of the goal keeper with everyone putting in a determined effort to keep the ball and make good passes, especially Richard Edwards. this sustained possession paid off with two more goals, one from man of the match Will Alderton and the last from James Hope.
