.NEWSFLASH.
Although Burglary of dwellings is very rare on the Kington Rural Police Section It saddens me to inform you that we have had another such crime committed. The details are as follows:-
Between 2.30pm and 11pm on Friday 21st December offenders have broken into a house in the Lyonshall area. The rear double glazed window had been forced and entry gained to the house. Jewellery and cash were taken.
Did anyone see a “stranger” in the village between these times or a vehicle parked up in the village. If so please contact us immediately.
If you are going to be out over the festive period please leave lights on in the house (lights on time switches work very well) and possibly a radio on. Don’t let the burglar know you are out.
