A Review to C.A.M.E.O. Day 2008
 | On Wednesday 18th June 2008 the whole church building was once again given over to the second "C.A.M.E.O." (Come And Meet Every One) Day. The Wednesday Club for the Over 50s, who meet regularly on Wednesday mornings, and Hereford Baptist Church had arranged a wide variety of displays and activities of interest to the older people in the community. These included Crafts & Hobbies, Social Services, Health & Beauty Care, Home Safety & Security, Legal & Pension Advice, Disability & Mobility Aids, Healthy Living and much more. In short: something for everyone. Some of the displays and activities were repeated from last year (owing to popular demand) whereas a number of new ones were added to make the exhibition area even bigger.
The pictures below give some indication of the various activities:

| The Craft Room offered a colourful display of various Arts & Craft with exhibits by church members and artisans from the City. A number offered 'hands-on' experience, such as Flower Arranging and Card Making, with the opportunity for those trying to take home any finished pieces of their art. | |

We had two main speakers during the day who each gave their personal account of how their Christian faith helps them in their respective careers.
Cllr. Marcelle Lloyd-Hayes spoke in the morning and Chief Supt. Mark Turner in the afternoon.

| The day finished with a Musical Finale presented in the Main Church by two members of the Wednesday Club, namely Joan Spencer and Jagger Laycock. Both enjoy sharing their love of music with the Wednesday Club and other organizations, and their rendition of light classical piano music and song was once again received with great appreciation. | |
