Qb
 Thursdays, 7.30 - 9.00pm
A chance to come in and experience all or some of the different zones within Qb.
- Spend time sitting and chatting, chilling out with mates, ordering food and drink from the bar, relaxing and watching other people on the games consoles (NEW FOR SEPTEMBER 2007 - COME AND ENJOY THE Wii), or have a go on one of our laptops.
- Enter the 'Craft and Project Zone' and develop your skills in cooking something delicious, or making something useful (from crafts to something with wood and more).
- Spend time in the 'Active Zone' - playing table tennis, football, volleyball or watching others do it!
Or come along and do a bit of everything. Qb is for anyone and everyone between 11 and 18. |
PODs
Wednesday 7.00 - 8.30pm
Places Of Discipleship
PODs are small group of young people who want to go deeper in their faith and spend time together figuring out waht it means and looks like to be a follower of Jesus. There are two different kinds of PODs depending on age.
For those in Years 7-9:
An action packed, video clip, game filled, energetic session with Andy, Sian and Claire. Some of our time together we will be one big group, but for other parts we will break down into small groups to spend time getting to know a few others (and one leader) really well. Half way through the evening we pause for some delicious things to eat and drink, but only briefly because there's always lots of different things to do!
For those in Year 9 and above:
Our PODs are led by other young people, supported by Roger and Claire. We have two older PODs with the view to multiplying into four in the coming year. These PODs are based on a cell group model, and each person in the group has the opportunity to participate and lead one of the four sections of each group session: Welcome, Worship, Word and Witness.

Breakout
About once a month, usually on a Saturday
Fancy dangling from ropes down a cliff face, canoeing down rivers, swinging through the trees on a high ropes course, trying out your ice skating skills? These are just some of the things that we have done at Breakout over the months. It's our chance to go out together, to enjoy being together and maybe learn some new skills along the way. If you're brave or just fancy giving it a go, then you're welcome to come and join us, whether you've never done it before or could do it in your sleep! Andy is taking this area of youth ministry on, so who knows what adventures he has for us in the coming months! |
Encounter
This is a chance for all those in PODS (and anyone else) to come together and spend some time worshipping God together in a variety of different ways. This is usually on the last Saturday in the month from 7.30 - 9.00pm. We sometimes go and join other young people from churches across Hereford and enjoy worshipping together. If you're interested in being part of these evenings, then do get in touch with Claire.
