Friday saw the first trophy of the season being played for up on Bradnor.
As a result of heavy rain and thunder and lightning The Hussey Trophy was played over twelve holes.
Sam Lloyd had a splendid round and scored a massive 31 points.
The Prodigy Comes Runner-Up
Second, with a fine twenty nine points, was Matthew Davies.

Capt'n Pete a Valiant Third
Captain Peter F Handley posted a very creditable 27 points off his 21 handicap. He's obviously moving towards his best form in time to lead his men in the next round of The Quadrangular at Patshull next weekend.
In fourth place was Bryan Kirkham. Once Bryan begins to grow a bit we can expect him to be among the trophies!
