Spotted on Bradnor

Foot and Mouth caused havoc last season and the club is still feeling the results even now. These 'sheep' were spotted on the 9th recently something must have got into their genes (jeans).

The Seniors & Their Mixed Matches

Of late the Seniors have taken to playing mixed matches. This is only since the bracken and gorse have reached head height. Many members have wondered about the significance of the timing. However all can now be revealed. This photograph was taken at 7 30 on a Monday morning on Bradnor Hill nowhere near any fairway!

For legal reasons the Seniors have had to be airbrushed from the photo. Anyone requiring a partner for the next Mixed should contact the Seniors' chairman. However it should be pointed out that next year's captain, Derek Brookes, has been allowed to choose a regular partner for the rest of the season and he has chosen the pretty young thing appearing front right.

All the 'partners' come with horns. Rather like committee members really!

The Celt with an Identity Crisis

Spotted alighting from his buggy last week The Celt aka Large Ken.

Bandits

In the absence of handicap reductions for a large band of male members in the club the committee has been forced to display this warning notice outside the pro's shop for each competition.

It saves writing names such as Messrs Wright, Griffiths, Thomas et al

The Learner Drivers

The new buggy is proving to be a huge success. However some members do not seem to realize that there is speed limit of 60 mph.
