An Excellent Turn Out for The Junior Open

Recently the club hosted the annual Junior Open and Daily Telegraph Qualifier. Altogether there were 64 entries with some of these 64 turning up on the day and causing major organisational headaches.
There were some excellent scores. The Open and Qualifier was won by Alex Morton from Shifnal with a spendid 72. Second was Matthew Davies with 77 and Peter Handley third with 78.

The Gittoes Trophy: Nett
 | The Gittoes Trophy for the Nett winner was won by Gareth Williams from Llandrindod Wells with a fine 64. He beat Sam Philpotts on the back with Jamie Hughes a shot back in third place.

There were some remarkable scores in the Stableford with Joe Hughes playing brilliantly to win The Dave Hewitt Trophy with a phenomenal 52 points, a mere point in front of Adam Oakley with Jon Thorne back in third place with 45 points

 | Ross Moore outclassed a large field to win the Dave Haley Cup by a large margin.
Second was Owain Jones from Llandrindod and Owain Hoskins, also from Llandrindod, was third.
