A Foggy Day on Bradnor: Saturday 23 March
 | The rolling mist was down and the land hidden as the old enemies sat down to an early breakfast prior to resuming annual hostilities over eighteen holes. Sadly the weather did not improve and battle ensued with visibility mere yards. Nevertheless the Anglo Saxons prevailed although it was a tight run thing, 316 to 315 points. |

The Anglo Saxons
 | The English, ably led by that one-armed warrior-king, Victor Baggott, comfortably defeated the Celts by a margin of one point.
The overall winners were the leading English pair of N. Scott & M. Gittoes (now there's a good old Celtic name) with an outstanding score of 46 points.
The other leading English scores were M. Waygood & R. Ingram (42) and V. Baggott & J. Ashford (40)

The Celts
 | Sadly The Celts haven't found another Owen Glendower and even with the likes of those giants, Messrs Wictome & Jones, went down yet again.
Nevertheless there is some hope and some creditable scores were posted namely 44 points from N. Layton and G. Wictome and 43 from T. Price & H. Jones.
