First Ideas about the place
 | This was my first time at this festival and, I must say, I was quite impressed. It seems to have one of the largest gatherings of dancers of many a festival but with a nice mix of vocal artists. They are not all well known ones either.
It was good to see some up and coming bands as well. Rackaback was one of them. This three piece line up was excellent and I hope to see more of them in the future.
Working there as a steward was not taxing as the people running it were considerate in giving us adequate breaks, which made the four hour stints not as onerous as expected.
The town itself, when you get past the usual collection of standard chain shops, was very pleasant. The mix of old buildings with a shopping centre worked well. All venues were not too far from the excellent camp site. That is the one by the side of the canal, which was well run and laid out
