About Us

SUN was originally set up by Herefordshire Centre of Independent Living as a Peer Support Group to enable direct payment users to meet and offer mutual support and advice to each other on any aspect of receiving a direct payment.

The Group has now secured it’s own funding and it is now open to anyone with a disability. We occasionally invite guest speakers who talk on a variety of subjects affecting disabled people.

Becoming a Member of The Service User Network (SUN)

Becoming a member is easy!

Just turn up!

It's that simple.

No one is obliged to come to every meeting, however we do expect members to be committed to the Group by way of keeping up-to-date and also remember CONFIDENTIALITY
