“One Chorus, One Piano, One Concert, (Two Nights)”
ALGSS present a concert of 19th and 20th Century music from the stage
Hot on the heels of their recent success with “The Sorcerer” at the Rudolph Steiner Theatre in Kings Langley, the Abbots Langley Gilbert and Sullivan Society (ALGSS) will be performing a summer concert on Thursday 10th and Friday 11th July at the Henderson Hall in Abbots Langley. The concert will feature the works of Gilbert and Sullivan, as well as songs from Oliver!, West Side Story, Die Fledermaus, Joseph and his Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, Carousel, Guys and Dolls and La Belle Helene. Musical Director, Philip Joslin, has put together an imaginative programme featuring some well-known and rousing chorus numbers, as well as some rarely performed pieces. It will be an entertaining evening with excellent singing guaranteed. The concert starts at 7.45 p.m, with tickets being priced at £6 each (£5 for concessions). There will be refreshments available, as well as a licensed bar.
To book tickets, please call Anne Rycroft at the Box Office on 01923-263303
