The Greens and Clubhouse
 | The greens and clubhouse are situated within a few minutes walk from Barnet St. John the Baptist Church via the park entrance adjoining the Council Registry Offices opposite the Church on Wood Street. A small car park adjoins the clubhouse and access is via a single lane roadway "Manor Close" on the left along Wood Street from the Church and a few yards before Manor Road. Being outdoor bowling our season is from the end of April to the end of September. However the club activities are organised to provide an active social calendar throughout the year over and above the active bowling season. Coach parties are arranged to the London Theatre land; Visit to "the Dogs"; Bingo Social evenings and the like. The bowling season comprises league games; friendly games; Club competitions; special matches and gala days such as President’s v Captain’s day, the Men v Ladies game. During the playing season an established annual visit via coach to a bowls club in Holland-on-Sea is arranged. A long weekend of bowling with social visits is organised and arranged with bowling clubs in and around Bournemouth. The year ends with an annual Dinner Dance at the Old Fold Golf Club where prizes are presented to winners of the Club competitions for the seasons trophies. An entertainer is invited to make the evening a memorable success.
Although the clubhouse belongs to the Council the Club members in recent years have furnished and expanded the building with facilities that have created a friendly and welcome atmosphere for bowling and socialising crowned off with Charlie's Bar.
