Re: Stoneycroft: 20/5/06
Not cleared by 16th June. Sent fax to Brian Scott, Street Cleansing DBC on June 21st . . .
21st June 2006
Dear Brian,
“Cleansing Oversights” and the Dacorum Website
Further to my letter of 30/10/06 on this subject:
On May 20th 2006 I posted three reports that for text limitation reasons I needed to split over two further Cleansing Oversights on the Dacorum Website, whose texts are copied below.
I received an auto-acknowledgement on May 20th saying “Your reference number for this enquiry/request is 22564.”
I have received no other response, and as of last Saturday morning none of the dumps had been cleared.
It therefore appears to me that there has been no improvement in the response system since I raised the issue with you last year, and I should therefore welcome your comments as to whether my experience is typical, and whether there is any realistic prospect of an improvement, as your letter of 20th July implied.
Stoneycroft: 20/5/06
1. Waste cardboard + untied binliners full of miscellaneous waste . Go down ramp from Stoneycroft shops towards Parkwood drive. Dump is the far left corner of the small square grassed area then to your front left.
2. Binbags and other litter. Walk towards Parkwood Drive surgery. Dump is behind the flats immediately to your left.
3. Binliners, old-style waste bins and other materials including discarded Barbecue set. In the former bins areas of both blocks of flats facing Northridge Park with garage access from Parkwood Drive .
Reported as "Cleansing Oversight" on Dacorum's Website 20/5/06.
Yours sincerely
Gruff Edwards
