The Best Bonfire Ever

JERSEY FARM FIREWORK DISPLAY & BONFIRE PARTY SATURDAY 2ND NOVEMBER 2002 AT THE JERSEY FARM OPEN SPACE & ADVENTURE PLAYGROUND TICKETS – ADULTS £3 IN ADVANCE, £4 ON THE NIGHT CHILDREN (5-15 YEARS OLD) £1 The party will start at 5.30pm with music, hot dogs & drinks, including mulled wine. The firework display will be at 7pm so you should arrive at least 30 minutes earlier to ensure that you can see the show and to avoid a last minute rush at the entrance. The bonfire will be lit at around 7.30pm after the fireworks. We are hoping to have live music from a steel band – see our noticeboard for more details. It will be our biggest firework display yet – 20% more fireworks than last year! Tickets will be on sale at the ticket stall 10am-4pm on 26th & 27th October at St.Brelades Place, as well as during the day on Saturday 2nd November. The only price increase is for tickets on the night, so make sure you buy in advance, which will speed up entry on the evening. The British Red Cross will be providing first aid cover & please remember to the following safety rules: ·        No private fireworks are allowed – this includes sparklers (frequently responsible for burns & are a real problem when cleaning up the site. ·        All children must be accompanied by an adult & supervised at all times (you are responsible for their safety & behaviour – ensure that your youngsters leave the site & do not stay to play near the bonfire or hinder the clearing up of the site). ·        Food & drink will not be served during the firework display (too distracting & everyone wants to see the display, including the people cooking & serving. ·        Keep a safe distance from the bonfire at all times & observe all safely tape barriers.
