why we began - a very short history lesson.

We began in Jan 2001, following a request on the Neighbourhood News e group site, asking "Is there a Computer Club in this area?" It seem's the answer was no. So a meeting was held on 30th Jan, it was held in the Blackberry Jack pub, 8 people turned up.
It was decided to hold further meetings on the last Tue of the month.We held a further meeting on 27th Feb, and 13 people turned up.

At our March meeting it was decided to move to the Marshalswick Community Centre still on the last Tuesday of each Month. ( We could not compeate with the noise)
