Introduction
This page is for those interested in The Cane Masters System. The system includes: Exercise and Self-defense and is completely intergrated.

CANE MASTER'S CANES:
Available in Hickory, Oak, Walnut, Golden Wood or Cherry. (See wood description below)
All Canes are 36 inches to 37 1/2 inches unless otherwise noted.
Longer canes are available in Hickory or Oak for an additional £15.
Canes made of Cherry are an additional £15.
All canes come with a rubber tip unless otherwise indecated.
FULL DIMENTION CANES:
All canes in this catagory have a round shaft 1 inch to 1/8 inch diameter, and as such are our strongest "Sticks". It must be noted that as material is taken away from the cane, it will lose some of its integral strength.
SHAFT CANES:
The shafts of these canes have been reduced by about 1/3 of the size of our full dimention stock, and therefore are not as strong. but, they are still stronger than any drug store cane. With the edges that have been created, they are great for working preasure points!!!!!

Woods used in the making of Canes
1 Pure Hickory Heart:
A naturally occurring dark pigmentation of the hickory tree that comes from the centre, or "Heart" of the tree. The colour can range from a dark honey to a rich mahogany.
2 Hickory hard wood:
As the term would suggest, this is a combination of the light hickory and hardwood. Mother Nature does a magnificent job of mixing the colours.
3 Hickory:
This is one of our "standard" woods. It is a fine quallity grained, dense American hardwood, typically "Bone" in colour with occasional streaks of "Heart" wood.
4 Oak:
We use "White" Oak, which is usually a dark Khaki in colour after it is soaked in mineral oil. The grain is more pronounced and open than hickory but, we would rate them both as our strongest wood.
5 Golden Wood:
Harvested from the high forests of Asia, this golden Hued wood is light in weight but still very strong. Great for those that want lightening quickness and durability.
6 Walnut:
A very lighweight chocolate coloured wood: that can have some light coloured streaks running up and down the grain. It is not what you would consider a "Combat Grade" wood, but works quite well in tournament cane, as it's lighter weight facilitates quicker spins and twirls.
7 Cherry:
Our lightest and softest wood, cherry has an interesting grain that contains some interesting swirls of orange, not unlike a lighter coloured Hickory Heart wood. Once again, we do not consider Cherry to be a true "Combat Grade" Material!!!!!!
HIGH GLOSS FINISH:
Remember that on any Cane order you can request a High Gloss Finish. We'll apply 6 coats of Tung Oil, sanding lightly between each layer. Only £40 Additional.

NEW!!!! Raw Stock:
These canes are exactly the way we recieve them from our supplier: a rough-hewn stick of wood with a crook on the end. No work what so ever has been done to the crook, shaft, or horn. Subject to the stock on hand, they are available in all our wood selection. RRubber tip included. Price £25 (Hickory with heart and walnut available at additional cost).
Burnt Wood Cane:
Basically, this is a "Raw Stock" cane with a lacquered finnish. This is a introduce yourself to the cane, or for those on a budget. Available in Hickory or Oak. Price £35.
STANDARD CANE:
The shaft is round, or slightly squared, then sanded to a smooth finnish. Complete with a large crook and an angled horn, this cane has been designed for training and the street. Price £35.
DOJO TRAINING CANE:
The tip and horn are rounded, and the crook has been "Opened" to facilitate safer throws and takedowns while practicing technique. The shaft is NOT true enough for our Combat canes, but great for Dojo Training. Rubber tip Not Included. Price £35.
CUSTOM COMBAT CANE:
The shaft is round or slightly squared with one set of grips carved just below the opening of the crook. It is then sanded to a beautiful furniture quality finnish. complete with a stylized horn, this cane leaves no doubt as to its potential self-defense application. This is the cane of choice for the street! Price £50.
Instructor's Cane:
Designed with safety in mind, this is the perfect cane for the instructional environment. Both the horn and tip are rounded, with one set of grips just below the crook, which has been opened to allow a easier release when practicing throws and takedowns. Make it a triple grip for £15 additional!!!! Price £65.
TRIPLE GRIP CANE:
This is the custom combat cane with 3 gripping areas to assist in the locks and throws using both ends of the cane. Add an additional set grips for just £15 more!!!! Price £75.
BLACK BELT CANE:
We call this our triple grip "with an attitude"!!! in addition to several grips, it has a section of Shark's Teeth which not only looks great, but can be also very effective in a self-defense situation. Price £115.
GENTLEMEN'S CANE:
With a round shaft, this cane was designed at the request of many folks who see the cane as more as an everyday necessity, and yet want a handsome looking as well sturdy walking stick. Made in your choice of the finest Hickory, Hickory Heart, or Oak we have in stock, it has a soft horn, grips below the crook and a briliant high gloss finnish sure to please even the most "discriminating admirer". Comes standard in Hickory, with Heart, or also available in any of our premium wood, Price £110.

CANE MASTERS SHAPED-SHAFT CANES
Tear Drop:
Picture our Custom Combat Cane with a striking edge on crook side, and you have an incredible Self-defense tool! The tear drop design on the shaft also lightens the cane for faster swings and twirls. price £75.
With Rib Back same as the tear drop design, but with added ribs on the (Opposite side of the crook) of the shaft for better gripping, as well as for "Working" on pressure points. Price £75.
Sharks Tooth:
We start with the tear drop cane and add carvings to the striking edge. Just imagine raking use "teeth" over bones or rolling them on pressure points! Price £75.
D.T.N.C. Canes:
NEW 2002, This cane has a tear drop edge on the shaft down to 6/inch from the tip. The grip below the crook has been extended down the shaft to the start of the striking edge. with Shark's Teeth and a grip on the tip, this cane definitely "don't take no crap" Price £110.
OCTAGON-QUAD GRIP CANE:
Imagine a cane with 8 striking edges and four grips on the shaft made of either Hickory or Oak, and you've got one of our latest products. Made with your choice of either a soft or "Nasty" horn, this cane definitly means business! Price £115.
MASTER CANE:
Made of hand-selected Hickory with "Heart" wood, the grain and perfection of these canes is of the highest quality and beauty. The extensive Custom work done on the shaft, crook, and horn make them a true "Master" cane to be admired for many years to come! Stock is limited, so please allow 4 weeks for delivery. Price £120.
DIAMOND SHAFT SERRATED EDGE CANE:
As the name denotes, the shaft of this cane is with 4 striking edges that have been carved with small Shark's Teeth down the entire length. We'll leave it up to your imagination as to how you can use these features! Price £135.
PROFESSOR'S CANE:
Material: Hand-selected Heart Hickory same description as the Master Cane, but made withour finest grade Hickory Heart wood, personalised with your name and choice of icon Laser engraved on the shaft along with GM Mark Shuey's signature, and sealed with a high gloss tung oil with not only gives the cane a lustrous finnish, but also brings out the incredible beauty of the wood. Price £151.
THE GRAND MASTER:
Only the top 1 percent of our Hickory Heart stock is used for this beauty! Extensive detailed work has been done to the crook and shaft of the cane, which not onhly facilitates any technique you might want to perform, but also makes the cane look like a work of art. In addition to Laser Engraving your name and the icon of your choice, we also highlight your name in Gold.
