We recently had another Brownie Pack Holiday in Coniston we went there last about 5 years ago. Our theme was Winnie the Pooh. It rained all weeknd but the Brownies did not seem to notice so was not a problem. We went on an 'expodition to the north pole' through the driving rain and went on the Coniston Launch to Torver - we could not see out of the windows. We then walked back to Coniston playing Pooh Sticks along the way. It was too wet to sit down for our picnic so we kept on and had 2 Brownies falling over one hurting her self quite badly. Probably cos we were all starving at this point. Then it stopped raining and we found ourselves a small spot to stop and have our lunch - revived we walked back to the Youth centre happily.
