Arnside Young Players Present: THE WACKY WEATHER SHOW!
Oh hello again, It's me Ben again and I'm here to tell you all about our new play "The Wacky Weather Show!" starring...
ME
I don't really have a big ego, honest! I play a character who is described as calm and serene. I play AUTUMN!
Me and the rest of the cast are really enjoying ourselves, practicing this play and trust me you'll love it! Especially the kids!
The play it'self is about a woman. Not any old woman, but the WEATHER WOMAN. MOTHER NATURE tells her that she must control the weather forever, along side the SEASONS (Including AUTUMN) and the Elements.
But the WEATHER WOMAN isn't happy when 2 of her allies betray her. The weather turns really wacky and out of control.
Can the world be saved... COME AND FIND OUT!

Players do "WACKY WEATHER SHOW"!
After lot's of rehersals the Arnside Young Players performed "THE WACKY WEATHER SHOW" at the E.I (Educational Institute).
The play was performed on the 24th and the 25th of February. The whole cast did an excellent job! Obviously the rehersals have paid off.
The play couldn't of been better and neither could the audiences!
All of the audience members, both young and old, really enjoyed the play. They were all involved in the audience participation.
The play itself sees the Weather Woman (Izzy) and the seasons try to stop North-Wind (Jade) and traitor Jack-Frost (Holly) from plunging the world into eternal winter. But the Weather Woman and the seasons will need help from the elements and Mother Nature.
The play had a full turn out on both nights. Infact we needed extra seats on the second showing!

Well done all young players on 2 terrific shows. I am very proud of you all. The hard work paid off. I think your costumes looked great; thanks Pauline! and the makeup; thanks Jeanne and. the effects; thanks Anita and the music; thanks Jeremy and Lesley. Everyone I have spoken to said it was a super show......so I look forward to the next production; and of course thanks Ben for this website. Keep it up and running.
