2/3/06- Izzie Hirst
Today we're joined by Izzie Hirst who plays Inspector Jenkins.
Interviewer: Okay, so Izzie how are you lately? Izzie: im good Interviewer: So how did you feel when you got the part of Inspector Jenkins? Izzie:erm, i was excited to get the main part, and i knew it would be a lot of fun rehearsing as that part and stuff like that Interviewer: So what do you think of the character Izzie:Well, he is quite fun to play, because he is a male, and im female, but i think he is quite short-tempered, but very mysterious, because we dont know much about his past Interview: Ah yes, his past, Ben L. Maden is being quite tight-lipped about that. What do you think it is? Izzie:i think that in his younger days, he was a bit of a rebel himself, you know, maybe did a bit of drugs, or even murdered someone, but i think he saw the wrong doings he did, and this inspired him to become a detective. something like that anyways! Interviewer: So, what's it like working with everyone at young players? Izzie: everyone is really nice, and so supportive. And it quite literally is young players! the ages range from year 5 - year 10, so its nice to see the younger children perform Interviewer: What do you think of Ben L. Maden as a writer? Izzie: lol, yes hes a very good writer. I think he should be a playwriter Interviewer: Are you looking forward to Jenkins 2? Izzie: Yes, but im not sure how much longer im going to be in young players, my canoeing is getting in the way a bit, as much as i love being a part of it though. Interviewer: Well we'd all love to see you in Jenkins 2!!! Maybe that'll be your last performance? Who knows. I know that we'd all love to hang on to you!!! Would you become an Adult Player? Izzie: yes, i think i would. What i think the group needs, is possibly more advertisment to older youths, and then perform plays with more parts in. But i also like it like it is now Interviewer: Well I know someone interested in joining (In our year group!). I think Jenkins will promote the group a lot and Ben L. Maden will advertise!!! What would you say to someone who wants to join the group? Izzie: would say, its practiaclly free (just 50p a week!) and its fun and you get to socialise and be yourself (when your not acting) Interviewer: So Izzie, what other hobbies do you have? Izzie: well, i go canoeing usually twice a week, but recently only once, i go skiing every week, i play the guitar and the viola, i love art and craft and i love science and fashion and textiles. I make quite alot of clothes Interviewer: Cool!!! So, what's the best thing about Arnside Players? Izzie: its local and fun!!!
