Casterton Village Hall

Casterton Village Hall is a local resource that is run as a charity with an elected committee including representatives from all local groups.

It is located in the centre of the village which has a population of around 300 and is situated about one and a quarter miles from the market town of Kirkby Lonsdale.

The Hall can accommodate up to 75 people. It has an entertainments licence and was totally refurbished and refurnished in 2003 including the introduction of disabled toilet facilities. There is a well equiped kitchen with a range of new crockery to suit most types of function. Parking is available in the locality.

It is suitable for many types of event and recent ones have included the annual Burns Supper, Childrens Party and a range of winter evening talks. It can also be used for private events such as birthday and anniversary celebrations and is well situaded near to the Parish Church of Holy Trinity for such things as christening celebrations.

The hire costs are £6.50 per hour for local and charity events and £8.00 for commercial ones.
