"Belfagan is an all female morris side - we have been dancing together since 1981. We're based in Cockermouth, an attractive, lively market town just outside the Lake District National Park: our members, however, live all over northern Cumbria.
We follow mostly the North West Morris tradition, and some of our dances are named after places in our area, like Keswick, Wigton, Eaglesfield or Cumberland Crown. We also have our own dance, named, with great originality, Belfagan."
