EF Foundation for Foreign Study is a not-for profit organisation dedicated to furthering cultural understanding through foreign exchange.
Established in 1979 EF Foundation organises high school exchange programmes for students from 33 countries throughout the Americas, Europe, Asia, Australia and New Zealand. Every year nearly 4,000 teenage students spend either a semester or a year in one of 9 host countries, the UK, the US, Canada, France, Germany, Spain, Australia, New Zealand or Ireland.
As the EF Foundation grows the mission statement remains the same to promote cultural understanding through student exchange.
