Firstly about myself - my name is Laura Mason, and I have lived in Kendal for all my 17 years. I attend a local sixth form, and also Kendal Air Cadets.

So...why this page?
In 2007, I am going on a dream adventure. 800 miles north of the Arctic Circle, rugged glaciated and surrounded by enormous ice bergs. I will be spending my summer on the amazing Disco Island, Greenland for 6 weeks of unrivalled extreme adventure.
Arctic survical & adventurous activities with 60 other young explorers from all over the UK, this really will be the challenge of a lifetime...
