Heversham is situated a few miles south of Kendal, on the A6 between Milnthorpe and Levens, at Dallam School. Easy access from J.36 or J.35 on the M6.

The Club has a thriving Junior and Senior section, together with an active social scene and plenty of opportunity for tennis at all levels. Although based at Dallam School, we are an independent Club and open to everyone in the community.
There are 2 senior teams playing in the each of the Ladies, Mens and Mixed First Divisions.
New members are always welcome, with various levels of subscriptions, including a buddy scheme for adults wanting to play with their children who are junior members.

2 ball machines for Members use. 4 scoreboards.
Shared facilities with Dallam School indoor court used for coaching.

NEW SENIOR MEMBERS
Senior Club sessions take place on Sunday afternoons from 2.00 p.m. and Tuesday evenings from 6.00 p.m. Though these sessions continue to be well attended it is always nice to encourage new members to join us. To this end we have introduced an 'Invitation to Friends' initiative. This initiative allows members to bring a friend along to three social sessions (either Tuesday evenings or Sunday afternoons). The usual visitor's fee of £1 is not payable but visitors attending Tuesday evening sessions maybe required to pay the £2.00 floodlight fee.
Whilst all members are welcome to attend club sessions it is realised that some members may feel inhibited; either because they feel their playing standard isn't up to scratch, or because they are new members who haven't made contact with existing members. Saturday afternoons are usually quiet and a good time to get rid of those 'playing nerves'. If you need a partner or an opponent please ring Peter Dixon who has kindly offered to put players in touch with each other you never know, it may be the partnership of a lifetime. There is a special membership rate of £20 pa for parents who just wish to play tennis with their children, as junior members, but do not require senior tennis.

WINTER TENNIS
Club evenings continue all Winter on Tuesdays from 6.00pm and on Sunday afternoons from 2.00pm to 5.15pm. On Tuesday Winter evenings, when floodlights are needed, a charge of £2.00 per member will be required to cover floodlight charges.
The Winter Club Mixed Competition provides enjoyable, but competitive tennis throughout the Winter, providing approximately 2 games a month for everybody. As each couple is handicapped this gives an equal chance of winning to everyone and encourages all Senior Members to play throughout the year.
