Cakes

Hutton Roof has always had a reputation for good food, hence the comments made at the annual Country Fair and Fell Race about our superb Teas. The picture shows the spread just before the hungry hordes decend. The table is kept full for a good 3 hours on fell race day despite customers attempts to empty it. This is due to the sterling efforts of the villagers who each bake literally dozens of cakes, sandwiches, scones, biscuits etc for the day. Also of course those that serve the drinks, take the money and keep the table filled on the day.
