10th Kirkby Stephen Garden Trail in 2008

The popular Garden Trail in Kirkby Stephen will continue in 2008 supporting the town’s entry in the “Britain in Bloom” competition. The 2007 Garden Trail provided donations to the Kirkby Stephen Health Centre, and the Great North Air Ambulance. The committee also agreed to allocate funds towards the costs of the Kirkby Stephen entry in “Britain in Bloom”. The 2008 Garden Trail will be the 10th Trail and the date for the event has been set for the weekend of 19/20 July. The Garden Trail is non-competitive which appears to be more acceptable to participants. The committee are looking for further gardens to enter the 2008 trail, especially for visitors to walk-round.
