About the Sedbergh Ladies N.F.U.

Although N.F.U. stands for National Farmers Union the Sedbergh Ladies N.F.U. is not just for farmers and farmers wives but any one interested in coming to our monthly meetings which are generally held on the third Tuesday of the month in the Commitee Room of the Peoples Hall in Sedbergh at 7.30.p.m. from September to May. We have an outing in June and go out for a meal in November.
There is a guest speaker or a demonstration at most of our meetings and in the autumn we have a special charity night which is open to all.
New Members are always welcome. Membership is currently £7 p.a. and members are welcome to bring guests to any of the meetings with a token payment of £1 on the door.
Our Autumn programme is as follows
September 19th; AGM and talk about Marie Curie Cancer Care
October 17th; Wine Evening with Booths.
October 27th; Charity Night for Marie Curie Cancer Care; Antiques Road Show with Mr.B.Higgs.
November 21st; Table Decorations and Truffles with Mrs. Farnell.
December 12th; A Prelude to Christmas. Quiz and Carols.
