The Readers' Conference will be held:

The programme:
Anne Caldwell, training manager for the National Association for Literature Development, will lead a day of seminars and literary fun and games to stimulate the imagination of all who love reading. With guest speakers, subjects for discussion will include:

Reading as fashion in the 21st Century
Glittering Prizes – Booker, Whitbread etc and the difference they make.
The literature festival phenomenan.
Ingredients for a successful reading group.
PLUS
Visiting authors will describe how they handle criticism and the difference it makes to their writing. Coffee bar. Bring a picnic lunch.
