Bursary for an art history student studying the 18th century

The Romney Society offers a bursary on the following terms:
The value is£500or $900 for primary research work by an undergraduate/postgraduate student or a person in their first job.
The area of study will be an aspect of the life or work of a George Romney or any contemporary linked to Romney ( provided the link is part of the study)
The length of the article should be 4/5000 words.
Applications may be made at any time and should be in the form of a proposal of not more than 150 words.
The deadline for submission of the full article is negotiable. The chosen applicant will receive the bursary in instalments.£200 on award, £200 on receipt of the article and £200 provided that the article is accepted by the Editorial Board for publication in Transactions. The aim is certainly to publish the final article in Transactions of the Romney Society which is the annual academic journal of the Society.
Applicants are encouraged to use the email link to discuss proposals with the Chairman of the Society.
Articles should be illustrated with images which must be submitted with the final text. Charges in connection with the illustrations will be paid by the Society subject to the agreement of the Editor of Transactions.
