Just had the 2008 AGM at the Union Tavern. A few changes have taken place and Alice Campbell is now the Chairperson. The vacant Secretary position has been taken by myself Dave Howard and Tony Ryan remains as our Treasurer. Slightly disappointing turn out but enough turned up to make it worth while. Following the formal meeting discussions, we put together a run list for the rest of the year. This will now consist of only two runs each month until October instead of every week and will also alternate between Saturdays and Sundays. The branch Kendal Bike Show has been pencilled in for 2nd August and your support would be appreciated. Please get in touch if you can help as its in danger of being cancelled due to poor support.
No club organised rides have taken place in the last month. No surprise really as its been windy, raining or freezing. Usually a combination of all three. For April we have a trip to Hartside Café planned on Saturday the 12th. Tony has promised to buy the bacon butties. That could be a first.
On the 27th we have a ride through the lakes passes planned. That should be a great day out. We will be meeting at Windermere as a starting point. Check the website for more details. Or contact
