Macmillan Nurses Palliative Care Fund - Presentation Night
The Landlord and regulars at the Atlantic Hotel Mosley Street, Blackburn, have chosen the Macmillan Nurses Palliative Care Fund as the local charity they are going to support in 2004.
Between 2pm on Friday 30th and 2pm on Saturday 31st January, 8 regulars took part in a 24 hour Sponsored Pool Marathon to raise funds for this excellent cause.
Customers at the Atlantic pub donated raffle prizes, and many put their loose change in a bucket on the bar top.
On
SATURDAY 6TH MARCH 2004
there will be a
PRESENTATION NIGHT
COMMENCING AT 7.30PM
Held at the Atlantic.
A cheque will be presented to Marion Preston, a representative from our local Macmillan Nurse service.
Entertainment on the night is being provided by local vocalist
NIGEL MYERS
The staff and customers at the Atlantic hope to raise even more money on the night via another raffle.

Easter Weekend

Anyone interested in joining us in our quest to raise more funds for the Macmillan Nurses are more than welcome. You don't have to be a regular customer at the Atlantic!
Our premises are available free of charge for charity fund raising and community groups.
