'Medicine Man' was the star in his own 'Pow - Wow Theatre Show' in 'Pioneer Playland'. He once smashed up my watch, when a trick went wrong.

Baddies in Disguise:
Big John and Little John, really they were part of Johnny Ringo's Gang,but here we see them with the stagecoach (and dressed as Indians), that had just brought 'Lazy Lil' and her dancers into town.

What No Horse?
Miss Shelley sure looked pretty when she got out of her jeans; this is how she looked in the 'Hollywood Greats Show' that the held in the Alamo arena. She did lots of different parts in that show, but she never got her Rhett Butler!

What's he doin' here:
'Pioneer Playland' hosted 'Sooty's Wild West Show', along with his friend 'Sweep'. The person with his hands in unbelievable places was Andy, and this live children's show proved very sucessful.

Let Me In!
 | 1992 saw the opening of 'Mexicoland', a new feature at the park. Here Barbara Windsor cuts the ribbon, and declares the new area open.
With her are the 1992 Entertainments Staff.

This photograph is from the very early days of the 'American Adventure'. The guy in costume is believed to be named Hughie, and was a Mime Artist, who never spoke to visitors. He went to do a similar show at Alton Towers. |
